Terms of Service

These Terms are the agreement between you and Omer Burak Isik (sole trader), trading as Story Atlas, Danziger Str. 46, 10435 Berlin, Germany ("we", "us").

By using Story Atlas you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

1. Who can use Story Atlas

You must be 18 or older. Children do not use the app. You are responsible for keeping your account secure.

2. The service

Story Atlas generates AI-narrated audio stories as MP3 files you download and play. You review and approve every story's text before any audio is produced.

Story Atlas is not affiliated with tonies® or Boxine GmbH. You decide which device you upload our MP3 files to.

3. Subscriptions and payments

All paid features are sold through Apple In-App Purchase. Apple is the sole payment processor.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the cost of the chosen subscription.
• Manage or cancel in iPhone Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Refunds via Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

4. 14-day withdrawal right (EU / UK / Switzerland)

You normally have 14 days to withdraw from a digital-content contract. By tapping "Generate story" you consent to immediate performance and waive that right for generated stories.

5. What you can't do

Don't use Story Atlas to generate or request:

• Sexual content involving minors (we will report this to authorities)
• Hate speech or harassment
• Content promoting violence, terrorism, or self-harm
• Fraud or impersonation of real people
• Copyrighted characters or named public figures

Voice cloning: only clone voices with the voice owner's explicit consent. No deepfakes, no celebrities, no deceased persons, no minors.

Violations lead to account termination.

6. Your content, our content

Your prompts, profile data, and voice samples stay yours. You grant us a limited license to process them to run the service. We do not train AI models on your data.

Stories generated for you are yours to play and share privately. You may not sell or commercially redistribute them.

The app and brand are ours.

7. AI-generated content

All stories are AI-generated. AI output can be inaccurate or unexpected. Do not rely on it for factual, medical, legal, or safety-critical purposes.

8. Liability

The service is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. Your mandatory consumer rights are not affected.

Our liability is capped at the greater of €100 or the amount you paid via Apple IAP in the 12 months before the claim. This cap does not apply to death, personal injury from our negligence, fraud, or liability that cannot be limited under mandatory law.

9. Termination

Cancel anytime through Apple. Delete your account in Settings → Account → Delete Account.

We may suspend accounts for material breach, especially Section 5. On termination, any voice clone on your account is deleted within 30 days.

10. Apple

• These Terms are between you and Story Atlas, not Apple.
• Apple has no support obligation for the app.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes are emailed at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after the notice period counts as acceptance.

12. Governing law

German law applies. You may bring claims in the courts of your country of residence or in Berlin. Your mandatory consumer-protection rights are not affected.
